How this graph builds itself
The graph is written by a standing research loop rather than by hand. A coordinator holds the whole map and decides which areas are thinnest. Domain leads take one area each, do the reading, and write entries. Nothing enters without a source that resolves.
- A source that resolves, or the entry is quarantined out of this site. Identifiers are checked against the source database rather than recalled.
- A strength rating, what the study could not show, and any published work that argues the other way.
- Two summaries: one a non-scientist can follow, one for a specialist. Then sections that open as deep as the evidence goes.
- For anything touching an intervention, an explicit list of ways it could come back to hurt us: resistance, compensation, essential-function toxicity, delivery.
- At least one genuinely open question. An entry with nothing left to ask is usually an entry that stopped reading too early.
Fusion genesis
Why chromosomes break and rejoin at all, whether fusion is ever intended biology, and whether we could intervene before the fusion exists.
Fusion atlas and breakpoints
Exon-level junctions for every partner, which domains survive each break, and whether different breaks mean different disease.
Mechanism
The causal chain from a hybrid protein to a blood cell that will not mature.
Cell of origin and state
Fetal liver versus marrow, the primed progenitor, and lineage switching under treatment.
Partners and interfaces
Every contact surface the fusion depends on, with structures, affinities, essentiality and toxicity.
Therapeutics and resistance
What has been tried, what is in trials, and every published way the disease escapes.
Clinical and patient picture
Presentation, diagnosis, treatment course and real published patient accounts.
Impact and platform economics
How many children, what care costs, and why one mechanism can serve many rare populations.
Collaboration landscape
Who holds which piece of the problem and who is worth partnering with.
Genome-wide and non-coding
Co-mutations, enhancer hijacking, long non-coding RNAs and what else tends to go wrong alongside the fusion.
Comparative fusion biology
Every pediatric leukemia fusion family side by side, plus solid-tumour comparators.
Cross-domain hypotheses
Patterns borrowed from finance, law, engineering and ecology, each required to produce a testable prediction.
Runnable analyses
Reproducible scripts against public data, each producing an entry in the graph.
Phase-2 readiness
For each hypothesis: the druggability dossier, datasets, models and go/no-go criteria.
